King of the Hill Frito® Pie Recipe

"I was watching King of the Hill, Peggy mentions making Frito® pie. My husband looks at me and says see if you can find something like that on the internet. Looking at other people's recipes on other sites, I decided to make my own version of Frito Pie. While Hank Hill prefers Wolf Brand Chili, I made my own. :) Hope you enjoy!"

  • 1Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir turkey in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
  • 2Stir tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato juice, and chili seasoning mix into turkey; simmer until until chili is hot, about 5 minutes more.
  • 3Pour corn chips into a large bowl and top with turkey chili. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over chili.
